I have enjoyed teaching this powerful word on perception and 4 main viewpoints in life:
- The Now Viewpoint;
- The Past Viewpoint;
- The Vision Viewpoint; and
- The Eternal Viewpoint.
Your eternal viewpoint is the most life-altering viewpoint you’ll ever have, and ultimately it will determine the outcome of your life. It is a matter of life or death.
The Eternal Viewpoint is:
- The foundation of your belief system;
- The pillars that support your values, principles, and standards for your life;
- It’s your passion that propels you to submit to the will and instruction of God’s Holy Word; and
- It’s your lens that you use to view Father God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit, as you pursue your purpose and fulfill the great commission – every day until Jesus comes back.
There’s no other eternal viewpoint that offers healing, freedom, and redemption for all eternity – like making a decision to surrender your life to Jesus Christ and accept Him as your Savior.
I challenge you to look within your soul and ask yourself three questions:
- Do I just know about Jesus or do I know Jesus?
- Do I truly believe the Word of God and does my life align with His Word?
- When I stand before Jesus at the end of my life – and He asks me the most important question of all eternity, “Why should I let you in My Kingdom?” What will you say?
These 3 questions should shake you to your core.
Everyone lives their lives on a fast and furious track – trying to fit Jesus into their schedules. But every time you are shaken and awakened by reality – you realize what really matters in life.
It’s never the big and fancy lifestyles that matter when your life is on the line – but it’s always the little things in life that matter when time is slipping through your hands.
So evaluate your life – and make a decision to live the rest of your life looking through the eternal viewpoint. This viewpoint will teach you to live in your “now” and enjoy each moment as it comes.
Take the time to love – and love deeply – and love on purpose – and always choose to forgive.
Don’t miss your moment to look through the lens of eternity and dream with God – for He placed every intricate gift inside of you, and He knows every desire of your heart. So as you partner with Jesus and look through the lens of eternity first – then you will be able to see your vision come alive and come to pass before your very eyes.
Remember, you can’t fulfill your destiny without Jesus – because, you were created to fulfill your destiny through Jesus.
So take a deep breath and dare to dream big… and never stop seeking Him with all of your heart: Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NIV)
- For the Lord knows the plans He has for you;
- Plans to prosper you and not to harm you;
- Plans to give you a hope and future;
- Then you will call on Me;
- And come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you; and
- You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with all of your heart.
Love and prayers,
