Have you ever been in a broken and hopeless situation? If so, then you know what the deafening cry in the midnight hour sounds like as your soul desperately searched for answers from God.
No one wants to endure these terrible times, and no one wishes them on their worst enemy. But in the midnight hour… YOU WILL discover several things about yourself:
- Who you are;
- What you believe;
- If you trust God;
- If you trust the infallible Word of God (The Bible); and
- If you have the faith to walk through the storm.
Too many times, the storms come without any warning or siren to prepare you for the devastation.
If you’ve ever experienced the dreadful phone call, knock on your door, bad report, an accident, abuse, or horrific memories of images, haunting sounds or words… they’re just more than one can bear. If you’ve ever walked this journey – your compassion for others who are currently suffering is overwhelming.
There are no shortcuts and the only way to make it – is to go through the storm and don’t stop.
Grief is a normal process but grief alone has no healing power. The real healing power of Jesus is to trust your Heavenly Father with your bleeding heart and unbearable pain. On this journey, you must learn to trust beyond what you can see and feel.
Through my own experiences, I can testify that God’s promises are true and available for you – yes you!
I have found that Father God provides and delivers 5 major promises when you’re broken and crying out for help in your midnight hour:
- He promises to love you unconditionally;
- He promises to supply unlimited supernatural grace to carry you;
- He promises to guide you through your grief;
- He promises to heal your pain; and
- He promises to restore you.
The beauty behind Father God’s promise of restoration is that He lovingly puts all your broken pieces back together again.
They never fit perfectly together, because pain is never a clean break. Pain always causes a tearing that rips your heart apart and leaves an aftermath of jagged edges.
That’s why it takes time in God’s presence for the complete healing to take place. It’s a process of healing the mind, body, and spirit. No one enjoys the process, but if you fight it… your healing will take much longer.
You are never the same again. You will never go back to that person you once knew, but Father God always makes you better than before.
I don’t know what you’re dealing with in your midnight hour or the sleepless nights that hold you captive in your past. But I do know that God’s healing power is real. I am a walking miracle.
I give all the praise to Jesus Christ, my Savior for never leaving me in my darkest hour. He loved me through every storm, restored my peace of mind, and kept me from the clutches of the enemy.
Acts 16:25-31 (NKJV)
But at midnight, Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them. “Suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken; and immediately all the doors were opened and everyone’s chains were loosed. And the keeper of the prison awaking from sleep and seeing the prison doors open, supposing the prisoners had fled, drew his sword and was about to kill himself. But Paul called with a loud voice, saying, “Do yourself no harm, for we are all here.”
Then he called for a light, ran in, and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. And he brought them out and said, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?”
So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”
Whatever storm you are facing, I want you to know you can make it! In your midnight hour, cry out to God… and you too can encounter your miracle.
A Prophetic Prayer for you:
I declare and decree the love of God to invade your mind and every broken place in your heart. I believe the peace of God is transforming your mind and comforting your spirit. Breathe in and breathe out. Embrace the healing power of God and let Him knit you back to together in His presence.
You don’t have to live in despair another day.
Your hope is in the arms of the Father, and He sent His Son to make a way for you. Jesus paid the price for you to walk in your healing. This same Jesus wants to know you personally and make all of your crooked places straight.
He wants you to believe that He loves you and cares about your heartache. He is more than enough to lead you out of this pit of despair and teach you to stand on your feet again… and live victoriously!
Your pain is not who you are. Your pain doesn’t define you. Your pain is something you endured, but Jesus came to bring you hope.
You are truly a masterpiece of the Fathers love.
On your journey, I encourage you to:
- Stop fighting,
- Stop doubting,
- Stop trying to understand,
- Let your faith arise and every enemy will be scattered in Jesus name.
Walk in your freedom. Walk in your healing. Walk in your restoration. One may fear the midnight hour – but I learned to be thankful for I am better because of it.
I live better. I love better. I give better. I forgive better. I am better.
Love and prayers,
