There are no words to fully describe the sustaining power and strength of an unspeakable joy. You truly have to experience it.
Have you ever tried to explain an amazing encounter you personally had and as much as you tried to describe it – you didn’t feel like you did it justice?
For an example, you can try to describe your beautiful encounter of when you delivered your first baby…you may try to re-live your amazing experience, but it’s never the same. You can even share all the intimate details…
- When you found out you were pregnant;
- How you ate everything in site;
- When you felt the baby move for the first time;
- When you found out the gender reveal;
- How you labored for 12 long hours;
- How it took your breath away when you heard the baby’s cry for the first time; and
- When your life forever changed after holding your baby for the first time.
There are no words that can accurately describe that moment.
There are not enough adjectives in the English language that can explain the love and joy you felt. Mainly, because there’s nothing like being there and experiencing it first hand.
Having unspeakable joy is just like that…
The true unspeakable joy that dwells within you only comes from the Lord. Each amazing encounter in the presence of God will leave you changed and filled to overflowing with joy.
When you fully surrender to the Lord and allow Him to transform your mind and heart – you will never be the same again.
- Your desires will begin to change.
- Your passions will begin to change.
- You will begin to love the things that Jesus loves.
- You will begin to hate the things that grieve Him.
“Stop imitating the ideals and opinions of the culture around you, but be inwardly transformed by the Holy Spirit through a total reformation of how you think (Romans 12:2, TPT).”
As you begin to totally trust the Lord and allow your mind to be transformed… you will be renewed and left with a deposit of sustaining joy that will strengthen you and it will never run dry.
Unspeakable joy is living water from heaven that feeds your soul.
“You love him passionately although you did not see him, but through believing in him you are saturated with an ecstatic joy, indescribably sublime and immersed in glory. For you are reaping the harvest of your faith – the full salvation promised you – your souls’ victory (1 Peter 1:8-9 TPT)!”
The Aramaic can be translated as “a glorification that cannot be described.”
A Prophetic Word for you:
I see the floodgates of heaven opening up over your life and there is a rushing river of joy flowing down the streets of your mind. You are about to encounter a transformation you didn’t even know how to pray for.
I see joy washing over you and stripping…
- Every lie,
- Every doubt,
- Every thought of comparison,
- Every spirit of fear, and
- Every tormenting sleepless night.
I see the scales being removed from your eyes that have hindered you from seeing all that God had for you. I see joy renewing your mind and reviving your heart to love again.
Joy has covered you with peace, and joy is sitting down deep within your soul to sustain you and keep you safe. Joy is your strength that stabilizes and keeps you anchored in the Lord.
This unspeakable joy is indescribable!
Love and prayers,
